Eloquence Skincare Review

I’ve never really been into skincare, I’ve always thought it was for old people (I don’t know where I got that from) and that it was expensive, unnecessary stuff. I may not be dawn to skincare but I am always drawn to promotional stands! I was in a service station on my way to Wales and I saw the Eloquence stand. I wandered over and listened to the lovely girl who talked me through everything. Eloquence is usually quite pricey but I got the whole bundle for an amazing price, sadly the promotional deal is over now and if you want to buy anything you have to pay the full price.

From left to right: Purifying facial cleanser, Firm and tone serum, Nourishing treatment oil, Firming and nourishing eye gel, Protect and repair 24hr cream.

They come in theses amazing lime green boxes with sliver writing and detailing, it all looks so sophisticated but the bright green makes it a bit more fun and interesting.

I have found all the face products to be amazing, nothing has made me break out which is what I was dreading. I use the moisturiser (protect and repair cream)  before my makeup and it makes me foundation sit on my face so much nicer than it did before. All the other facial products I use before I go to bed and they just make my face feel so fresh and clean, I think the beautiful, spa-like smell really helps!

The prices for the 4 face products aren’t that bad but the nourishing treatment oil costs £40 which is extortionate even for quite a big bottle. It is meant for skin, hair and ails and I add a few drops into my conditioner and it really does make my hair feel amazing a silky but I wouldn’t pay £40 for it when I’m sure there are cheaper alternatives.

You can check out the products on their website eloquencebeautycare.com/ and if you don’t mind spending a bit extra I would say go for it, but if you are on a bit of a budget you aren’t missing out on that much.

I would definitely buy the cleanser first if you want to try out the brand as that is only £7.99 and by far my favourite product.

Easy Halloween Makeup

I love Halloween. That’s a lie, I don’t love Halloween. I have never been trick or treating, I don’t like scary movies and I jump very easily. I just love dressing up and the only time that is acceptable as a teenager is Halloween!

I thought I’d show you a super quick dark makeup look, one that can be paired with an all black outfit and back combed hair for people that don’t love dressing up as much as me!

For a doing more crazy looks like this, a palette like the one I mentioned in this blog post is so handy!

To start, I just covered my eyelid in black eyeshadow as a base, then went in over the top of that with a beautiful midnight blue, purple, sparkly shadow. This is what really brings the whole thing together and makes it more exciting! In the crease I used a matte purple, it is completely up to you how much you add of this and how far you blend it out. To finish I dusted a little bit of really glittery silver for added sparkle!

You could go for a really dark, vampy lip to match the eyes, but I did a classic concealer lip to make the focus on the eyes.

Tip: don’t do this face on Halloween if you are trying to look intimidating!
